I have been seeing a lot of artsy backgrounds created with gesso lately. Thought this was a pretty good video to start with if your new to the whole process. Some cool ideas.

I have been dabbling with gesso for a few years now. When I owned the scrap store, my friends and customers thought it was horrid, kid art!! Now they are not as judgemental! It is a wonderful way to also "tone down" bright papers to fit your scheme. Thanks for the video

Tina, your lo's are fabulous! I tried to comment but my internet is really slow today, not sure if it worked it seem to be taking forever!

I love gesso but have to admit, I'm not a fan of gettting messy often. I hate to have to clean up after myself.
