PostSubject: Stitching   Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:27 am

Hi ladies! My Technique for you this week is stitching on layouts. I love the Sew Easy tool from We R Memory Keepers and I used it to create the heart stitching on my September sketch challenge layout. What I love about this tool is that it's really easy to use once you understand that the different heads that come with the tool are used with the mat to create a pattern for you to stitch. They are not meant to punch completely thru your cardstock. Once you've created your pattern use a paper piercer to go back over the pattern to create larger holes that will allow you to easily stitch thru the cardstock.

Here's a close up of my stitched hearts

Here's another fun card I made with the Sew Easy Banner head

Here's a video of how the tool is used from the We R Website

I hope you'll give this tool a try!

I really wanted one but have been wondering what people thought of it.
