SQOTD - 2/25 (storing kits)

Do you buy kits or make your own? After you use one, do you split it all up to store with the rest of your stash or do you keep it together as a kit?

I don't really buy kits anymore & the ones I make get used right away. Once I use a kit, I split up all the leftovers to put in with the rest of my stash.

I love buying kits!! at one point I have 4 (or 5) coming to my house a month!! I was in heaven!!!

But now i only get 1 ... The Scrap Room and I love it! It is really easy to use this kit up because it is divided into 4 collections with minimal embellishments (for each collection). So after creating a page or two from each collection, there is not much to add to my stash. However, if there is... I do add it to my stash.

I also put my own kits together. It makes my scrap time more usable. The times where I am not scrapping (mostly just watching TV lol) i will get my pictures, papers and embellishments and put them together in a plastic bag and then when I am ready to sit and scrap, I have my stuff ready! I do this for Crops too! Works great!

I do buy kits. I love the ease of them! :) Generally they stay together until there's not enough left to do anything with. Mostly at that point it's down to scraps and some of the embellishments, so I split those up.

I buy kits and keep them stored together until I've used most of them or they not longer inspire me, then I toss them in with my stash,

I get Scrap Room kits and use them up, but then store them in their baggies with their embellies. I also make my own kit so I'm ready to go when the mood strikes.

I've never bought any kits (yet), but I make up my own when I'm going to a scrapping day. Find it stops me from trying to take everything I own!
