| Up to what grade do you buy goodies/cards for your children to hand out valentines at school? I stop buying after 5th grade. | |

| Well I had a girl, and she still handed out Valentines in HS. LOL She also celebrated Hanuka with a friend who was Jewish. So I guess she's just that kind of a person. But let me tell ya when it comes to remembering family stuff she stinks! LOL I have to remind her to get Father's Day, and Christmas stuff for everyone. She even says when she has kids she will just give me the money to take care of it. | |

| Since our district at that time had Jr High, we handed out till 6th grade. But! I had very sociable children (even my boys) who traded cards and candy all the through high school. | |

| Our school district BANNED all sugar products...so no pixie sticks, lollipops, sweethearts on VD. I think the kids stopped bringing them in at 3rd grade.
Of course now in the MS, they send VD roses to ones they like. Each flower is $2, and the child puts a note with it, and then it gets delivered by the student council. Talk about really liking the little VD cards. :D At least I don't go broke...because of course my twins want to send to the girls they like, and the ones they are "just" friends with. | |

| I still have little ones (oldest in 2nd grade right now). It didn't even occur to me to really treasure these as in only a few years, the silly little Valentines will be gone. Amy | |
