I can't sew worth a lick. I tried last week to sew the ribbon for the layout and al most burned out the little mini sewing machine I bought. (not even joking)

Can we use "faux" stitching or does it have to be real? I might seriously have to reach out to my mom for some support on this week's layout and she's an hour and a half away! ha! go mom! This will be a trip!

PS: Love this layout though!!

Good choice and yso glad to see stitching as one of the techniques, I sew on every layout.

PS: Love this layout though!!

The other option would be to hand stitch. That's what I do even though I own a sewing machine. I like the imperfections of hand sewing..:)

Fun sketch! I handstitch too, but out of necessity...no sewing machine. I like the way it looks too though.

I can handle hand stitching...am I seeing it correctly? Is it the spot under title?

Can I start small on the stitching? I'd be afraid to rip the lo!

Jan - That's awesome that you stitch on everything. I would love to learn to sew. My Mom gave me a machine. I have to seriously find a place to set it up. I tried to use the mini paper stitcher last week on the ribbon and it literally burned up in my hand. Scary!

TIP. I use invisible thread in my bobbin so I don't have to change it with every color of thread I use. I bought a sewing machine just to use on my layouts!!

@ Colleen..Yes you are seeing it correct....and behind the photos too...big rectangle shape... You don't have to stitch you can use one of the other techniques. You can interpret the sketch anyway you like just as long as your layout resembles it and you use the required amount of listed items..

Great sketch, possibilities galore . Might have to try my hand at stitc hing.

Great sketch! Guess I'll have to take out my Sew Easy that I just had to have and only used once! Not a a seamstress over here! Love the sketch!

and yes folks I hand stitched on the edges of the blue...used my sew easy tool for the first time...so if I can do it...anybody can

This was a fun one to do, mostly because I'm amused with the title, which are rub ons. I combined stitching with the photo corners, and also stitched the border punch thingie. Three buttons with blings in the middle of each.

well done...and since I'm the one stuck cleaning the pool every summer...I wish they had an APP for it!!!
