| on make and takes. I'm going to be doing a make n take at the ARt-full Horizon conference in May on behalf of Paper Trunk. I'm lost for ideas on what I should do as a make n take. Can any of you give me your thoughts on what has been some of your favorites when you've done make n takes. Anything stand out and fun for you to make in such a short amount of time? I'd really love your input thanks ladies | |

| How about decorating coasters? Once I had folks make a cute, quick clipboard with a coaster base, half pack of post-its, and a decorated binder clip holding it together! | |

| I like to make cards & layouts. It's always fun doing a make-n-take but even funner when it helps me knock something off my to-do list. We always have photos that need to be scrapped & I can never keep up with all the cards I need during the year. | |

| Thanks gals for the ideas. PLEASE keep them coming. Kristi I am leaning towards cards. An oldie but goodie. Rachel: the coasters seem like such a great idea. The only thing is with the economy down a bit I'm trying to help Paper Trunk and just use paper and a few other embellies...kwim. But thank you for the idea... Please keep them coming. | |

| I have done make and takes as demonstrator and it come become overwhelming. I suggest small projects, like cards, tags, or bookmarker.
Strongly recommend that you rep-cut everythink and make kits for your project. That way it will be easier for you to manage the people.
Something else you need to consider is that ther will different levels of expertise - from beginer to expert - With beginners you need all the patient of the world, because you may need to explain them what scoring is, etc. Intermediate people, may or not follow your instructions but they are easy. Advance people tend to try to modify your project, I usually let them do it to make the projects theirs.
Last but not least, I highly recomment that you create a Supply List to make sure you are bringing everything...
Hope you find these tips helpful. | |

| I'm with Kristi here. I loved LO make & takes....They were more useful than anything else I made at a convention. :) | |

| Yes, LO and Cards are the best! I did do a bookmark once that was really cool and how I came to love acrylic stamps! | |

| If it is early May, you can do a Mother's Day card or perhaps a Father's Day card? |

| I like doing tags, it can easily be added to a scrapbook page after you take it home. Even a great idea if you have some finished layouts on display incorporating your tag. They can take a photo for ideas. | |

| Another vote here for layouts. Other things, once I get them home, eventually get lost or tossed, but layouts go in my album and I have them forever. | |
