| With Father's Day quickly approaching has anyone made any special plans or made/bought any special gifts for a lucky Dad?
Larry gets himself everything he wants/needs except clothing (boring!), so I had a lot of trouble coming up with ideas this year. I'm having his guitars restrung...that's about it! I'm also helping the kids make him cards for Father's Day. Just guiding them on how to create what they envision. In Alex's case, I'm helping him make 2 very different cards...one for his bio-dad and one for Larry. | |

| My Dad is so difficult. He and my Mom both get what they want and aren't into clothes and such. My Dad just had a birthday and we couldn't come up with a thing so we got him a $20. lottery raffle ticket for July 4th. I have no idea what to do for Father's Day. | |

| [b] My husband is a lot like yours! He buys himself what he wants, all throughout the year! LOL! This makes birthday, Father's Day, and Christmas really challenging for us, his family!!! SO, his "new, but loved as a kid hobby" is saltwater fishing, so we are getting him subscriptions to a few magazines about saltwater fishing! I think he will be surprised! | My hubby is into fishing too, but he goes the freshwater route. There's no shortage for him there...he's well supplied and we've already given him fishing stuff anyway several times over the years (doesn't help that his B-day is in July so we have to think about 2 things so close together!). I'm telling you kids are soooo much easier! lol | |

| Hi
I was lucky enough to be talking to my father in law when we visited for Sunday dinner last week.
We were looking at local history books and he showed me some he had but mentioned that he was missing one from a set about old tramways in the local area.
I managed to get a hold of one for him so I am going to keep it for fathers day, so that's him sorted.
As for my own father...well thats another matter, lol.

| Hubby doesn't ask for much except HIGH price items so I usually just give him a nudge to go splurge on something nice. We'll give him the day off & make a nice dinner. He wants a nice bike so he can start riding to work. Hopefully he'll let us take him to pick one out. Life is so crazy for us that all any of us ever want on holidays is the day off. | |

| All Wayne ever wants is a new expensive flashlight or watch or something sound system related. All Alicia wants is to pick something out to surprise him. *sigh* He just doesn't get it. | |

| I have no idea what to get my hubby. He is one that never asks for anything. He always tells me he just wants his family home with him. We're home with him EVERY night...lol | |

| My hubby buys what he wants all the time and he always has to work on Father's Day.
So my DD and I take him on a picnic at the lake for Father's Day and we usually make him a card. This year I have 4 Starbucks Bottles that we put little signs on....#1 Dad.....You Rock!.....We Love You... with his favorite items inside. Reese's Pieces.....Jelly Belly Jelly Beans....Cashews...Sunflowers. That type of thing.
