QOTD 9/28/2011 (storage tips)

Let's share those scrap room tips and tricks for storage.

I have a section of my room I'm looking for some new furniture for. I need it to house my sewing machine and cricut. Yet look much nicer then the plastic table I'm using now. We've started looking yesterday at Home Depot and furniture stores but still haven't found something that will work.

Joyce, those island butcher block carts work well for this. You have the storage underneath & the work surface on top. You can easily grab your machine from the shelf & up onto the tabletop. Have hubby attach a power strip to the top or front of the cart. Sam's Club has some great ones. I also some alot of them at Big Lots too. There would also be space to store all you supplies & accessories for the machines too.
