Wowsers! Everyone knocked this one out of the park! So many GORGEOUS cards!

I have a question on bling that I hope someone can help with.

I have some gem words/shapes that are connected and on a clear piece of plastic. My problem is when I try to take them off, they get all messed up and I end up throwing it out. Is there a trick to doing this? I noticed some blingy-gem items on some of the LOs, so I'm hoping that someone can help.

I try to be really careful and slow. You could also just peel back a bit, then stick that onto the page and then peel and stick simultaneously, like you would do if you were putting graphics on a car or the wall.

A trick I use though is I will just cut it out on the backing and glue the whole sucker down. Thats what I do when I have no patience. I think the real trick is to be gentle. And breathe. And do it first rather than last when you're already mad at your stickers or stamps or whatever lol

Thanks, Tory. Those were some thoughts I had as well...and I was doing it *late* last night towards the end of the page, so I was smart and walked away!

Verena, try a gentle tape like scotch tape. Put it across the top of your bling, then peel the backing off of the bling instead of the bling off of the backing. Stick it to your project, then remove the scotch tape.

That does sound like a great idea; I will give it a shot tonite (I need this on my SYAO LO) so I'll report back!
