SQOTD 3/12/12 (multi-media)

Are you into multi-media? If so, what products do you like to use and what mediums have you tried?

LOL I guess everyone's either not into multi-media or too shy to share? I'll go first.

I love mixing paint and ink on projects. Though I've tried watercolor pencils and crayons, I don't use them very often. I just got some gelatos and they're on their way...would like to play around w/altered art more. I use gesso occassionally. Would like to try Studio multi-medium, but can't seem to find it anywhere nearby, so I'll probably have to break down and buy online. Hoping to get other mediums soon, so I can add more texture to my layouts and play around with art journaling too.

I'm really not into the multi-media stuff...very very messy, and I'm not a messy scrapper.

I love multi-medium & have tried numerous things...love mixing it up. I've altered things done canvases using Tim's distress crackle paint-tissue paper-torn pieces of doily-distress inks-stamps-wax-acrylic paint-material...etc. the things you can do & use are almost endless.
Doris the Studio matte medium is a wonderful product so versatile you can use it just like you would mod podge but when it dries no sticky surface! It's also a wonderful all purpose glue for almost anything it's what I used to glue down everything in my printer's tray collage-metal-glass-wood-plastic-clear acrylic-grunge board & everything is there to stay!

I am getting there, although right now I just have some inks, mists, and some glitter glam and glitter glaze. I would like to start playing with crackle paint and gesso but I don't have any :)

I took a Claudine Hellmuth BPS class and loved the techniques I learned. But I don't use them. I scrap in a carpeted room which is not really conducive to messy projects... And no water source for clean up either... Need a studio. Somebody please share such news with my husband! LOL!!

I love to play with it all on tags, ATCs, jewelry or altered projects. I love heat embossing, ink resisting, glossy accents, misting, painting, collaging....I love it all & I love it messy! I wish I could play with it all more often but I try to spend my time doing layouts & I rarely use all the messy techniques on my pages.

I love that I'm in the garage & I've taken it a bit too far. At least that's what Hubby says when he looks at the spots where I misted my flowers on the garage floor!

I'm just now dabbling in multi medium. Paints, gesso, studio multi medium, crackle etc. I really need to practice..
