A friend has finally decided to start scrapping. What ONE bit of advice do you give her?

Mine would be....Don't buy until you try!

Good question Kristi....awesome answers ladies. I was at a crop yesterday and a friend stopped by and now wants to start scrappin'....these are some of the same things we told her. Thanks so much!

I would tell her, get yourself a good pen, a good pair of scissors (sp?) a few PP and CS and then borrow or use your scrappy friends stuff, until you know what you like and don't like.

I would tell her to not over buy... to plan her pages before going and buying everything she sees! Too much stuff leads to many choices and for a beginner, they will become overwhelmed and give it up. OR at least that is one of my friends just told me recently!
