How often do you really clean your house?

I wish I could say weekely, but honestly only the bathrooms and bedding get done weekly and the rest of the house monthly. I wish it would just stay not dusty!

I am constantly cleaning my house! You'll generally find the whole house just picked up but dusty or a couple rooms sparkly clean. I have an 18 month old tornado that follows me everywhere I go. I put something away & when I turn around I see he is follwing me out of the room carrying the very item I just put away. My goal these days is just to make sure nothing stinks, we have clean clothes, food, a place to sleep & a clear spot to hang the calendar.

I clean my house daily, dishes, floors swept daily (washed weekly), laundry everyday,6in the family here (4 kiddos and me & the hubby), dust weekly but not all rooms, the 3 main rooms are tidy everyday ...cant say the same for the bedrooms.... its so hard to keep a super clean house, i have 3 dogs that track in dust and dirt as well. Like Kristi my goal is to keep my house smelling good..lol...i feel if i tried to keep everything immaculate, i wouldnt have time to do other things.

I do the nitty gritty dusting and fine cleaning weekly and 99% of the cooking but in our house, everybody has at least 2 chores; even if it's something as simple as putting shoes away or hanging up jackets-my kids have had shores since about age 3 or 4-all kids can put away thier toys in the toy basket! Even though I am a SAHM, my family knows that does not equal stay at home maid. My daughter has to clean her room -really clean once a week and the same for my son (with some assistance since I don't want my daughter to think that just because he has difficulties that he is exempt)...my husband and kids are very neat in general so its never been an issue. I knew my husband was a neat feak when I dated him and I am the same with the exception of MY personal woman cave/scrapbook studio.

I do dishes, laundry, cleaning out the car, countertops, trash, picking up/put away every day - sometimes all day! I have a 3 year old son who is very active and very bright! (I can brag because he has none of my genetic material - lol!) I wash all of the rugs, sheets, pillow cases and blankets at least once a week. I vacuum as needed, sometimes just a room or two. I am a neat freak so my house is never dirty or messy, but the funny ironic part about that is MY scrapbook room is the messiest room in the whole house! My husband's basement is more tidy than my space! (But, people don't see it - only my crafty friends! ) :) Oh, our floors, bathrooms, dusting get done every week, and then as needed if more often.

I have my own House Elf.

I am too exhausted to clean my house, so I've hired a friend to do it 2-4x a month.
She needed the extra money and I needed a break!
