Do you use paint on your layouts? How do you apply it and what kind do you use?

I love acrylic paint and I like splattering it on my Los or using my fingers to apply it... hardly ever use a brush!

I rarely do but I love the look of paint splatter.

I use acrylic paint...most often splatter it. Dry brush is cool too.

I love Tim's crackle paint especially when I am doing a shabby project. I have alot of acrylic paints which give me unlimited color options so I use them more mostly for painting chipboard. A coat of glossy or crackle accents is fun. I did splatter some paint on a layout to look like mud & it came out really cool.

I use acrylic too. I splatter,dry brush,stamp and make my own mists with it..:)

Rarely ever but if I do, I dry brush it.

yes, i do use paint on my layouts in different ways. Not all that much but I do. Sometimes I use it to edge my paper/photos some times and when i do, i used it with a tool (not sure what it is called) but its pink and when you push the end this little claw comes out and holds little white cotton balls (KRISTI, DO YOU REMEMBER THIS TOOL?) I used a brayer a few times to spread evenly over the page. I have used the sponge brush on embellishments and also another tool that i dont know the name of it (LOL) but it has a bristle end and a little needle-like part that you twist and it splatters paint on the paper. Gosh i am really bad at describing! LOL I will find photos and post! lol

Rochelle. I know the what mean w/the tool that hold pompoms for applying chalk and stuff like that. Not familiar with the splattering tool, but sounds handy!

I forgot...I also paint chipboard (especially alphas).
