SYAO2 Challenge #10 Due 4/10

Sorry, I hate that my scanner leaves a shadow when my embellishments are aren't flat.

Here is mine. Taken on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail outside Gatlinburg, TN
I'll be heading back there on 4/18 - a year later to the day - Its my annual pilgramage to the Smokies after tax season ends. A friend & I are going wildflower and elk hunting for 2 days. Its my "light at the end of the tunnel" lol - Afraid we have missed the grand display this year since spring has come so early to the mountains.

Used: doily; twine; 3 flowers; chipboard; border punch

Here's mine, I used a dolily, twine, stick pins, 3 flowers, a papers, and border punches.

Another fun sketch. This week I used twine, chipboard, 3 DSP and bling. I'm really gonna have to go out and get some pins, doilies and more flowers as I really like all of them I see on your pages ... but like Colleen, I have boys so I only occasionally add those supplies to my stash, LOL!

In response to the "flowers-doily" conversation. this was the first time that I used a doily, and it is not on a girly page - I was actually really surprised that it worked, I understand what you are saying about flowers too, but there are ways to make them man-ly, or unobtrusive if you "have" to use them for the challenge. One thing I have learned is work with the list, there is always a work-around.

handmade lollipop flowers looks good of "boy" pages. and you can grunge them all up too!! :)

I used twine, stick pin, chipboard (M) and 3+ patterned papers. My technique was distressing. I really wanted to use acrylic paint but I don't have primary colours - all pastels - boo.

Here's mine..sorry for the photo, I couldn't get the layout to stand up correctly against my easel, lol.

here is my version :) .. I was able to turn it into a double page lo too but I haven't quite finished the second page so maybe I will share that next week.

I used twine, chipboard letters, bling and flowers. I also used a border punch for my technique.

These LOs are gorgeous, Ladies! Nice work!
