| Looking at past layouts or around your scrap space, is there anything you have that you used to use alot but have forgotten about it recently? Because you got bored of it or forgot about it?
I used to used alot more chipboard than I do these days. I think it's because I don't want to take the extra time to dig for what I need & wait for paint to dry. I am TRYING to take the extra time to think about using more embellishments, techniques & journaling these days.

| I used to use more metal. For awhile I used fiber on every page, then not at all and now I've come full circle and have pulled out my fibers bag again. | |

| ummm, all i can think of is little embellishments like Pins, cute 3D stickers, etc. I would like to use more different embellishments on my layouts but I am always drawn to flowers and bling. I did try to change it up at one point in time and I was not liking my results and it just didn't feel right. So i went back to what I know and even though my hubby says i use a flower on every layout..... SO WHAT! that is me... my style! :) | |

| Eyelets, brads... all those little things... I also realized lately that I have TONS of embossing powder that I've never used. | |

| I've gotten away from using metals - I used to love brads/eyelets in particular but hardly use them any more. Also neglected recently are fibres, ribbons and the fortune I have invested in QuicKutz alphabets; I lazily mostly use Thickers now.
I have a little game that I play with myself, when I realize I'm neglecting things. I'll challenge myself to use X number of embellishments on a LO; X being anywhere from 3 to 7 or more, but all have to be different types of embellishments. Background paper, photos, title and journaling don't count; I gotta say I usually unearth something I've forgotten about, and am always pleased with the outcome.
